Trophy Spring Black Bear
The Spring Black Bear Hunt is conducted
in late May and June. Hunters arrive at the lodge on Sunday and leave
on Sunday. All hunts are evening hunts over active baits.
The large tree stands offer maximum opportunity with
shots averaging 40-60 yards (rifle) and 15-20 yards (bow).
Bears weighing 250 plus pounds are common.
