Trophy Woodland Caribou
We are very pleased to offer a limited non-resident
woodland tag allocation. Trophy animals were harvested by all hunters
(bow and rifle) in the fall 2006 season. Migration corridors offer
excellent spot-and-stalk ambush opportunities. This management area
has not felt pressure from non-resident hunters in the past.
The Woodland Caribou Hunting season opens with a
two-week bow only hunt around the first of September.
Arriving at the lodge on Sunday, the hunt begins
on Monday morning and ends on Friday evening. Guests leave midday
on Saturday.
