Eastern Canadian Moose
The Fall Moose Hunting Season opens around the first
week of September with a two-week bow only hunt.
Arriving at the lodge on Sunday, the hunt begins
on Monday morning and ends on Friday evening. Guests leave midday
on Saturday.
On foot hunting over abandoned logging roads and
over bogs satisfies every hunter's individual taste. Moose sightings
average 12-20 (with reports of up to 37) per week. Shots average
less than 100 yards. Success rate is over 90%.
